-An organized list of instructions that, when executed, causes a computer to behave in a predetermined manner. Programs contain variables representing numeric data, text or graphical images and statements that instruct the computer what to do with variables

Currently the most popular web browser to date would be internet explorer simply due to the fact that it is the default browser installed on windows machines and other pcs. however other 3rd party browsers such as Firefox and Macs safari are growing in use and actually seem so far to be more stable than any other current browsers.

i was able to find out my current bandwidth by going to toast.net and doing a speed test using the largest possible item.

after doign the test the speed was at 2835 kb or approx. 3 meg. possible T1 connection?
